Hi, I'm Isabel. I'm based in Vancouver, Canada, though my roots trace back to Nigeria. I grew up with professor parents who sparked my curiosity and encouraged me to think big, and two amazing older siblings who made every day memorable. I've been fortunate to have a strong support system that has shaped the way I approach challenges, learn, and grow.
For as long as I can remember, I've had an inner drive. I don't know exactly what it is or where it comes from, but it has always been there—pushing me to explore, create, and push boundaries. That drive has guided me throughout my academic journey: I graduated as the top student in my high school, was valedictorian of my Bachelor's degree in Computer Science in Nigeria, and earned Dean's List recognition five times at Douglas College.
I am passionate about software development, being able to turn an idea into usable software is exciting to me. I've recently peeked some interest and exlporing areas such as game development, educational technology and assistive technologies.
Outside of tech, I thrive on creativity in many forms—singing, dancing, music production, videography, animation, fashion, design, content creation and more. I also love sleep. Curiosity, joy, and determination are at the heart of everything I do, guiding me to learn continuously and seek inspiration in the world around me.
